Full Project Description:
The project at Windsor North School involved upgrading the high-use playground area. To ensure a safe play environment, Southern Turf and Sports first removed the old natural surface and then installed a shock-absorbing underlay (as seen in the preparation photo) beneath the artificial turf. This crucial step provides fall protection and meets safety requirements. The final installation of durable, year-round artificial turf eliminated issues with mud and patchy grass, providing students with a clean, soft, and attractive surface for their daily play activities, regardless of the weather.
