This project involved upgrading a community cricket pitch in Wānaka. The process began by preparing the existing concrete base, ensuring it was level and clean. Southern Turf and Sports then installed specialized, dense artificial turf designed specifically for cricket wickets. The turf provides a consistent and predictable bounce, making it ideal for both training and match play. The final installation, complete with regulation line markings, offers the local cricket clubs a low-maintenance, year-round playing surface that stands up to the demands of the Central Otago climate and high usage.
